Neither Abbey nor Tooley mention this selection of plates from Mayer's 'Views in the Ottoman Empire..', (Bowyer, 1810). However, a similar selection of views of Egypt and Asia Minor, published by Bowyer in 1812, is mentioned in the notes to Abbey 369.
