Second edition, following by six months an edition printed at Rouen. This handbook of pastoral theology, outlining the rites, ceremonies and sacraments of the Church, was written by a former chancellor of Cambridge university and is here edited by Agge, a Dutch humanist and associate of Erasmus. In his dedicatory letter Agge praises fulsomely the publisher, Bretton, for bringing into print this handbook, a deed for which the English nation owes him thanks.
