Collation: a-r8 s10 A-O8 P4 (a1 blank, a2r part one, s10-A1 blank, A2r part II, P4 blank). 262 leaves. 90 lines. 11-line initial in blue with red penwork decoration and green highlights and 5-line initial in red with blue penwork opening part one, 4-6-line initials alternating in red and blue, some guide-letters. Type: 4:130G, 9:68G. (First blank leaf detached, minor repairs to extreme margins of final leaves.) 18th-century calf over bevelled wooden boards blindstamped in a 15th-century style (slightly scuffed, partial split in upper hinge).
An attractive copy of an uncommon edition. GW lists only 6 locations plus the incomplete copy at Paris; NOT IN THE BRITISH LIBRARY AND NO COPY IN AMERICA. H *7528; GW 8653.
