Autograph letter signed, Berlin, 19 April 1843, to his banker, M.Leo, in Paris, concerning a draft drawn on the house of Mendelssohn made payable to Mme Berlioz but on which he has forgotten to write his wife's name, black ink, 1 page of a bifolium, 8vo (228 x 135mm.), with integral address leaf (the second page of the bifolium with pencil annotations, probably by the recipient). - With a good collection of autograph letters signed by French composers and musicians, a musical quotation, detached and framed signatures and a photograph, many addressed to, dedicated to or concerning the Norwegian composer Gerhard Schjelderup, comprising: GOUNOD. Autograph musical quotation signed and inscribed, 8 bars, Pater Noster (Preludio). - GOUNOD. Signed and dedicated edition of his song Oh! That We Two Were Maying, inscribed to Georgina Weldon, for whom the song was written. - GOUNOD.
