A collection of documents, letters and telegrams, comprising: Two summonses for Wagner to appear as a witness in the county court of Bayreuth, 3 April 1877 and 21 August 1877, the former as a witness in the case of Adolph Fürstner against Breitkopf and Härtel with an autograph endorsement signed by Wagner, dated 27 April 1877, asking for the time to be changed; and drafts of telegrams from Wagner to his banker, Adolf Gross, n.p.[Italy],n.d., requesting a new letter of credit; to Schott Söhne, Mainz, n.p.[Italy],n.d., expressing surprise about an enquiry over an index of names and stating that he is waiting to see the publication in Venice; to Liszt, from 'Ricardus, Cosima cum Familia', in Latin, n.p.,n.d.; a letter to Wagner from the adjutant of King Ludwig of Bavaria, 8 August 1876, congratulating the artists on behalf of the king for the pleasure that he had yesterday, referring to the king's attendance at the dress rehearsal for the first Bayreuth festival; and a hairdresser's and beautician's bill addressed to Wagner, 27 August 1881, including an entry 'Gnüdige Frau am 2 April Hühneraugen und Nägelschneide - 1M'.
