The ewer cast in the shape of a mythical beast, decorated with a band of scrolling flower-sprays divided by a gilt C-scroll beast handle, above a band of waves, a key-fret band at the foot, the cover with scale-pattern, applied with a pair of gilt horns and a tail; and a cash-shaped dish decorated with stylized dragons amidst lotus-sprays, both with minor enamel losses
