With steep slightly curving sides and everted rim, painted at the centre of the interior with a carnation spray below upright lotus, gardenia, peony, hibiscus and chrysanthemum in the well, the rim with a band of stylised foliage, the exterior with similar flower-sprays between bands of key-pattern at the rim and classic-scrolls on the short foot, restored
10¼in. (26cm.) diam.
