The arms are those of Osborne accollé with those of Anguish, for Francis Godolphin Osborne, 5th Duke of Leeds, who married secondly, in 1788, Catherine, daughter of Thomas Anguish, accountant-general of the court of Chancery. The Duke was born in 1751, created a Baron in his father's lifetime, and died in 1799.
