Of globular shape with mythical-beast-head spout and tail-shaped handle, moulded in low relief with a band of lappets below the short everted neck, the compressed domed cover similarly decorated surmounted by a knop finial, a central pale lavender splash reserved on the crackled pale green glaze stopping irregularly above the ring foot, glaze of cover somewhat matt, minute spout chip
