PROVENANCE: The calendar is sparse, but contains St. Bavo, bishop of Ghent (1 October), a later insertion is Maclovius, bishop of S.Malo (15 November).

DECORATION: the decoration is in the Bruges tradition in a style associated with William Vrelant and his school, with grisaille backgrounds of rocky and hilly landscapes with flowering bushes and trees.
