The only copy recorded of this French edition for the English market is the Bodleian Library copy on vellum. GW also lists a fragment in Hereford Cathedral Library, but the librarian kindly informs us that there is no trace of the Cathedral ever having owned a Rouen edition of the Sarum Breviary. The Bodleian copy lacks the Summer part of the Propers, and the present Proper of the Saints is therefore a unique survival. This copy lacks the Calendar ([8] leaves), the Winter part of the Proper of Time (a-x8 y6), the Summer part of the Proper of Time (lost), the Winter part of the Proper of Saints (a-f8 g10 h4) and the Commemorative Office of St. Thomas à Becket and Translation of St. Cedd (+4).
