The silvered dial signed and numbered BARRAUD, Cornhill, LONDON 2/886, Roman hour numerals, blued steel hour, minute and seconds hands, aperture for up-and-down indicator, Earnshaw escapement, cut bimetallic balance with segmental heat compensation weights, bright steel helical balance spring, dovetail spring detent with (replacement) jewelled locking stone, brass bowl with Barraud's butterfly winder, gimballed in plain three-tier mahogany box, the centre section with inset bone roundel inscribed BARRAUD 2/886, external brass drop handles
