LONDON, Roman hour numerals, recessed subsidiary seconds and up-and-down dials, blued steel hands, gilt half-frame keyless fusee movement, 18,000 count train, jewelled to the fusee, inscribed A.P. Walsh, London No. 1986, Earnshaw escapement, free-sprung cut bimetallic compensated balance with gold screws, duo-in-uno blued steel helical balance spring, spring foot detent with jewelled locking stone, open face gold case hallmarked London 1873, casemaker's mark HW for Henry Webb
