The 11 in. sq. silvered regulator dial signed in Russian T. Moser & Co. St. Petersburg and wound through the sunken Roman hour chapter disc beneath the seconds ring with observatory markings, all hands of blued steel, the movement suspended from a brass backboard bracket and having four pillars securing the plates with a steel screw at the frontplate and with milled nuts on the backplate, the wheel train with five crossings jewelled to the centre wheel in screwed châtons, Harrison's maintaining power, deadbeat escapement with adjustable steel pallets, fine beat adjustment to the crutchpiece to the steel and zinc gridiron pendulum suspended from a brass block on the backboard, the rectangular case with small glazed viewing apertures to the sides, unusually robust three-piece door lock running down the entire length of the case; original brass-cased weight and bone-handled winding key
