This drawing is one of a series of stained glass designs of The Seven Acts of Mercy. Related drawings for this unidentified project are in Berlin (E. Bock and J. An earlier series of The Seven Acts of Mercy dated 1524 is divided between Amsterdam, Berlin, London and the Lugt Collection, Paris, K.G. Boon, op. cit., no. 99. The drawing in the 1524 series corresponding in subject with the present sheet is in the British Museum, A.E. Popham, Catalogue of Dutch and Flemish Drawings, London, 1932, V, p. 11, no. 1, pl. III
