A table with similar base by Morant, illustrated in The Great Exhibition Catalogue, London, 1851, vol. II, pl. 34, p. 745, was designed from a suggestion by the Duchess of Sutherland. A centre table with a base of this model, attributed to George J. Morant, from the collection of the late Hon. Stephen Tennant, was sold by Sotheby's at Wilsford Manor, 14-15 October 1987, lot 277. A pair of parcel-gilt silver candlesticks of this model by Rundell, Bridge and Rundell, dated 1825, was sold in these Rooms by the Trustees of the Knole Estates, 20 May 1987, lot 134. A similar pair of candlesticks was sold by Sotheby's at Mentmore, Buckinghamshire, 18-27 May 1977, lot 64; another three pairs were sold in these Rooms, 7 July 1988, lot 34, 17 November 1988, lot 5, and 16 November 1989, lot 3
