Pierre-Nicholas Tourgueneff (1853-1912) was a French sculptor of Russian extraction. He trained under the celebrated animalier and historical sculptor Fremiet. Like his master, Tourgueneff executed animal bronzes, but also specialised in equestrian figures, particularly of the First Empire.
