The success of the House of Vever was firmly established as a result of the 1900 Paris World Exhibition when they exhibited the best display of Art Nouveau jewels. During the late 1880s Vever's designs were based on the Renaissance and Oriental art but later they collaborated with talented artists such as Brateau and the enameller Grandhomme and developed the Art Nouveau style for which they are best known.
