Designed as eight graduated cushion-cut diamond, rectangular and square-cut emerald clusters with diamond oval-link intersections, mounted in gold, with French assay marks, circa 1890, 42.7cm. long (with one imitation emerald to the right of the clasp, accompanied by a fitting to wear three of the clusters as a brooch)
