"Vietnam, 1965 .. as air gunner of an armed helicopter ... intense automatic fire received from a well conceived bunker complex ... Staff Sergeant White's superior gunnery inflicted serious losses and damage to enemy troops".

(b) Air Medal and four Oak Leaf Clusters, with original bestowal documents (1966, 1968, 1969), and citations ... "Vietnam ... in support of combat ground forces 3 November 1965 to 17 May 1966 ... twenty-five aerial missions".

(c) Bronze Star and two Clusters.

(d) Army Commendation Medal and three Oak Leaf Clusters with original bestowal documents (1966-2, 1969, 1974) and some citations ...
