FIRST EDITION, small folio (295 x 190mm.), engraved folding map (with repaired clean tear), three plates on one folding leaf, 4 plates of coins, illustrations (some spotting or browning, small hole in 2P<->4 with resultant loss of 2 or 3 characters, the final coin plate pasted onto back free-endpaper), contemporary English black morocco, gilt, covers panelled with floral cornerpieces, spine in seven sections with raised bands, each tooled in gilt, g.e., pencilled ownership inscription 'Geo. Offley Covent Garden', armorial bookplate of Arthur Hamilton Smith.
