A RARE PAIR OF 'BRIGHTON PAVILION' PLASTER WORK FIGURES, one wearing an elaborate robe painted and decorated in gilt cotton with dragons chasing flaming pearls amongst cloud-scrolls above a band of turbulent breaking waves all on a deep blue ground, secured at the waist with a green belt, a circular hat on his head, the other wearing a navy blue coat with floral medallions over elaborately decorated skirts, the lower section with a band of rocks amongst foaming waves, the hair drawn up under a winged cap (minor damage), early 19th Century 54cm. high (2)
