Lot Essay

The guns were completed circa 1935. The 'Twelve-Twenty' was introduced in answer to the demand for a superlatively lightweight 12-bore game-gun and this action combines the weight of a 20-bore gun with exceptional sectional strength. The Grant 'Lightweight' gun also incorporates the W. Baker patent action and the 'Twelve-Twenty' action has also been adapted for use by W. Powell
