Lot Essay

William Daniell wrote in his diary on 18th February, 1789 'We breakfasted very early and spent the Day at the Jummaigh Musjid, built by Shah Jehan. Un employed in the camera, took a View of The Mosque with the Minorets'. (see Walker's Quaterly, no.s 35-6, 1932, p. 49.)
