Circa 1800, imitation overglaze puce crescent and Flight mark
of shaped rectangular form, with a scroll moulded pen tray, the body pierced with three apertures with a cover and sander, the ring handle with a bird's head spout with a detachable gadrooned sconce between two pen holders, gilt with diamond-shaped panels of geometric leaf designs on an iron-red ground between black and gilt demi lune bands
