A FRENCH KINGWOOD AND GILT-METAL MOUNTED DISPLAY CABINET
late 19th/early 20th Century
of undulating outline, the upper part with a raised three-quarter galleried platform to the top, with a breche d'alep panel, enclosed by three glazed panel doors within foliate borders with rocaille and interlaced tendrils at the angles, the lower part with floral trellis marquetry centred by a floral spray with scroll foliage, the similarly decorated apron fitted with a drawer, on cabriole legs headed with a foliate spray and terminating in sabots, bearing a paper label Harrods Depository, Barnes, SW13, Genl..Sir.B.R.DE.LISLE..... 2169.....29/7/37. and in crayon 48
