A WALNUT, CROSSBANDED AND FEATHER-STRUNG BUREAU CABINET, EARLY 18TH CENTURY AND LATER VENEERED
The upper part with a moulded cornice and fitted with adjustable shelves, pigeon holes and three drawers below, enclosed by a pair of re-entrant, arched, fielded panel doors and fitted with a pair of candle slides below, the lower part with sloping fall enclosing a fitted interior and inset with re-entrant red tooled leather panel and with central enclosed cupboard flanked by pilaster secret compartments, pigeon holes and drawers containing four long drawers below on bracket feet
