A JAPANESE LACQUER CABINET ON STAND, EDO/MEIJI PERIOD, 19TH CENTURY
Applied with engraved copper angles, mounts and hinges and decorated in gold and red hiramakie, gold foil, and takamakie depicting fan and geometric shaped panels with relief birds and foliage, on a nashiji ground fitted with eight short and one long drawer decorated with birds flying over Mount Fuji with the lake in the foreground and enclosed by a pair of panel doors with carrying handles to the side, the stand on scroll feet, with restoration
