A FRENCH EBONISED, SCARLET TORTOISE SHELL AND BRASS INLAID SIDE CABINET, 19TH CENTURY WITH ELEMENTS POSSIBLY OF AN EARLIER DATE, in the manner of Boulle
With a rectangular top inlaid with brass lines with part of a moulded ormolu edge, side edges missing, fitted with shelves enclosed by a projecting moulded re-entrant panel door inlaid with brass marquetry and veneered with scarlet tortoise shell in premiere and contrepartie, the sides inlaid with brass lines on a plinth base
