The japanned and silvered cabinet stand from Hornby Castle, Yorkshire, sold in these Rooms 10 June 1920, lot 122 (illustrated), and illustrated R. Edwards, Dictionary of English Furniture, vol. 1, 1924, plate IV, is likely to have provided the prototype for this table
