Part of the firm's records survive in the British Horological Institute Library (Ilbert Bequest). There is the Clock Book, which lists the firm's numbered clocks from No.296 to 496 covering the years from 1797 to 1806, as well as an early nineteenth century Day Book which records the visitors to the shop (A. Kelly. 'Vulliamys, Wedgwoods and Georgian Clocks', Proceedings of the Wedgwood Society, 1968, pp.152-163)
Two Small Black Lion Clocks by Vulliamy No.389 and No.352 were sold in these Rooms, 17 November 1988, lot 22 and 3 April 1989, lot 2 respectively. They both had more relaxed reclining lions and in the case of the latter the Clock Book records ...Noule casting & chasing the two lions ... #2/2s/- ...
