A GEORGE III SATINWOOD SECRETAIRE-BOOKCASE inlaid overall with chequer stringing and boxwood and ebonised lines, with moulded rectangular mahogany cornice above key-pattern moulding and two glazed panelled doors enclosing later shelves, the oval glazing bars joined by floral tablets enclosing a green velvet-lined interior with three shelves, the base crossbanded in tulipwood and with hinged secretaire-drawer simulated as two drawers enclosing yew-wood fronted drawers above three graduated long drawers, with waved apron on splayed bracket feet, one front foot re-supported, with Edwardian restorations 31in. (79cm.) wide; 75½in. (191.5cm.) high; 18in. (46cm.) deep
