Stored, until removal for this sale, from the warren-like and naturally excellent cellars beneath one of Belgium's finest castles. Comprising almost the entire basement floor area, they have been filled by prudent and careful purchasing over many years by the present owners late father.
This range, along with the white wines (see lots 530 to 544) represent the first selection for sale from this marvellous cellar. Future sales will include a good-quality range of Burgundy and older Bordeaux, many bottled in Belgium which have proved to excellent in tasting and represent extremely good value
