VERNON, the rim with an incised border and with a band of stylised foliage below, the strap handle with incised decoration and pincered terminal, the cover moulded with exotic birds among foliage and with Bacchus head finial (the mug cracked and riveted in two places and stained, chip to rim), circa 1740 25cm. high
