A STAFFORDSHIRE SALTGLAZE WHITE TEAPOT AND COVER IN THE FORM OF A CAMEL with moulded bird's head and foliage spout and faceted scroll handle, the camel's body with his legs tucked to his side moulded with two figures at discussion among scrolls and vine, surmounted by an hexagonal howdah moulded with figures drinking and at discussion and with birds and beasts, the domed hexagonal cover with panels of plants and with knob finial (minute chip to rim of cover), perhaps Thomas and John Wedgwood of The Big House, Burslem, circa 1755
