A GOLD-MOUNTED SCENT-BOTTLE AND STOPPER OF 'GIRL IN A SWING' TYPE modelled as a Chinese family with a Chinaman embracing a Chinese lady holding an infant, their clothes painted with flowers and he wearing a yellow conical hat and trousers, seated to either side of a tree-stump applied with a pink rose and foliage, the gold mount chased with flowering foliage and the stopper modelled as a parrot, on a green mound base (minor restoration to tree-stump and chips to foliage, minute chips to base, edge of his hat restored), circa 1755, contemporary fitted shagreen case
