A MEISSEN 'JAPAN PATTERN' PLATE painted in underglaze blue, the centre with a large chrysanthemum head within three sprays of indianische Blumen and three moths, the trellis border with four panels of insects and spreading oak-leaves (small hairline crack to well, slight rubbing to enamels), blue crossed swords mark, underglaze blue painter's mark, Dreher's mark for Rehschuck, 1725-30
