AN APSLEY PELLATT SULPHIDE CUT-GLASS SCENT-BOTTLE AND STOPPER of flattened oviform, set with a sulphide portrait of William Shakespeare in profile to the left, the reverse and sides with allover hobnail-within-diamond ornament, the flattened stopper similarly cut (very minor chips to rim and chips to rim of stopper), indistinct signature to shoulder, the reverse impressed Patent London, mid-19th century
