A SET OF SIX PARCEL-GILT DOUBLE SALT-CELLARS, each formed as two shell-shaped bowls with gilt interiors, joined by two scrolling foliage cartouches, one engraved with a coat-of-arms, either side of a chased and engraved twisting vine handle, a plain circular mount beneath each shell supported by the shaped-oblong base, richly chased and engraved with foliage around the borders and the four broad scroll feet, marked with the initials of Nicholls and Plincke, unrecorded workmaster's initials PK, St. Petersburg, 1859
