A RARE SARD INTAGLIO, engraved on one side with the device of Agrigentum, 700 B.C., and the other that of Alexandria, 3rd Century B.C., a) an eagle devouring a hare and b) a standing figure of the goddess of the city, her left foot on the prow of a ship, holding a cross standard and being crowned by a figure of Nike standing on a spiral column, to the left she is saluted by a bearded nude phallic figure, on the right stands an Eros holding up a mirror, 700 B.C. and 3rd Century B.C.
