Sold with a letter from Frederick Edwards to Reginald Scaife dated 20 October 1860, requesting him to send me out a good consignment of English Clothing consisting of Blue Serge Shirts. I enclose you a list of some of the articles ... I principally want the goods to take up in the Interior to trade with the Indians. and relating some of his adventures as a gold prospector on the Fraser River; and two other letters mentioning Edwards, both dated 1860
