A GROUP OF GLAZED COMPOSITION AMULETS
Mainly Late Period (712-332 B.C.)

Including a bright blue glazed winged scarab, the wings with dark blue details, pierced for attachment, circa 9th-8th Century B.C., 5 5/8in. (14.2cm.) across wings; a turquoise amulet of a lion-headed goddess, striding, with hands clenched by her sides, mounted, 2 1/8in. (5.6cm.) high; another of Isis, pale glazed, wearing hieroglyphic headdress, 2½in. (6.4cm.) high; two wadj-columns, 2¼in. (5.7cm.) and 1½in. (4cm.) high respectively; a pottery seal impression with cartouche; and a fragmentary Graeco-Egyptian glazed composition female figure carrying a baboon on her shoulders, its tail hanging down behind, marked with black spots, mounted, 650-600 B.C., 3 1/8in. (8cm.) high
