A COMPLETE UR III CLAY TABLET AND ENVELOPE

The envelope with 8 lines of cuneiform text and multiple inscribed seal impressions of the scribe Na'u'a showing a seated deity, behind whom stands an attendant holding a tall staff, being approached by a goddess leading a worshipper. One side of the envelope has been detached revealing the tablet inside which reads: "2 gur of sesame by the royal gur Na'u'a has received from Ur-Ninsu, from the house of Ur-Adug the merchant banker. Month: Lisi; year: Simurum was destroyed for the third time", repair to envelope corner, from Umma
