mixed method engravings printed in colours, 1786-7, second (final) state, very good impressions, both plates with an indistinct watermark, with margins, P. & B. 39 with two nicks at the left sheet edge, a short repaired tear at the right sheet edge, two rubbed spots and a small repair on the seated Lady, P. & B. 40 with a few tiny rubbed spots touched in with pen and ink, the tip of the upper right margin corner made-up, two or three nicks at the sheet edges, both plates with pale light-staining and slight foxing in the margins
