etching, 1641, second (final) state, a very good impression, with touches of burr on the left shoulder of the standing man in the centre, showing no wear in the densely shaded area in the doorway, with small margins, two skilfully repaired tears at the left edge, another repaired nick at the right edge, a few thin patches on the reverse, minor staining and pale discolouration
