A PAIR OF GEORGE III MAHOGANY COMMODES, the serpentine moulded tops crossbanded with rosewood, each with a slide and three graduated long drawers divided by rosewood between spreading angles mounted with foliate gilt-bronze plaques and bellflowers reaching to foliate front feet, the shaped apron edged with long scrolls centred by scallop shells and flanked by bellflowers, the back legs carved with acanthus, one with typed label PHILLIPS OF HITCHIN LTD., minor repairs, one with back left hand leg repaired
