chalk-manner etching with engraving printed in colours, 1769, on pale brown laid paper, watermark Bunch of Grapes with proprietary name C.Lepove (?), second (?) state (of four) (Hérold state taht the colour blue is absent in this state, this impression lacks the colour red instead), a fine impression, the colours fresh, with margins at the left and right, otherwise trimmed inside the platemark, retaining all seven borderlines as well as the number at the upper corner and the artists' names at the bottom, lacking the address (not described by Hérold but illustrated in Jean-Richard), the border supplemented with gold leaf and pale green wash, slight horizontal ripples to the paper below centre, two registartion holes, generally in very good condition S. 284 x 227 mm
