etchings, 1753-76, from the set of 135, from Hind's Edition B3 (a), with Piranesi's address and price on those plates that usually have it, before the rebiting and added work, fine impressions, the majority printed in brown-black ink and with the characteristic clarity of line in the more densely worked areas, watermark double-encircled Fleur-de-Lys (H. 3), all but five sheets with full margins, H. 70 with surface dirt in two margins, H. 87 with a tear at the top edge extending just into the subject, variable staining and slight foxing, generally in good condition
