A John Keith silver mounted flagon designed by William Butterfield, tapering cylindrical form on circular stepped foot, the two cross bands supporting scrolled strap handle and 'S'-shaped spout, the concial cover incorporating trefoil thumb pull, the lower band inscribed Te Laudamus Tibi Benedicimus, the base To the Glory of God and in loving remembrance of Thomas Barber who fell asleep in Jesus on the feast of The Circumsision, 1863, stamped with maker's marks and London hallmarks for 1862
