1642-1850 entire letters and a entires (122 items), a wonderful collection illustrating many aspects of the postal system in Baden from the mid - 17th centuries and showing a comprehensive range of town handstamps, including 1642 entires from Calio and Waldenbuch to Stuttgart both elaborately addressed, 1747 entire from Heidelberg to Stuttgart showing albino "DE HEIDELBERG" 1774 (29 June) entire letter to Brunswick with straight-line "DE KEHL", 1788 entire letters (2) both showing "Von Freyburg/im Breusgad" in Gothic script, good to fine strikes, 1780 entire with "DE MOERSBURG", a good selection of Rayon h.s. with "R.1 LAHR" (red), "RENCHEN.R.1" (red), "R.2. DONAUSCHINGEN" in black and red (dated and "R.3. MOERSBURG", thereafter many different straight-line, boxed and circular date stamps, interesting instructional and rate markings and several fine registered items
